Navagio

Navagio Beach, originally known as Agios Georgios, is an exposed cove on the coast of Zakynthos also known as Shipwreck Beach. It’s a famous beach with Shipwreck on it. The coaster Panagiotis, ran around Zakynhos in 1980. and ended up on Navagio Beach during stormy weather.

The beach was closed in 2018, after a cliff collapse above the beach. The beach was reopened and anchoring is permitted, but with restrictions out of concerns over future landslides.

In 2018, over 1,000 travel journalists and professionals, named Navagio beach as the world’s best beach in a poll.
